Get Involved

There are a number of reasons why people choose to volunteer. For some it’s the chance to give back to the community and make a difference, while for others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Volunteering can also help to enhance your employability and C.V and stand you out from the crowd. Both UWE and U o B have extra curricular schemes which help to add to your degree. http://www1.uwe.ac.uk/students/careersandemployability/uwebristolfuturesaward.aspx

No matter what your motivation, there are plenty of volunteering opportunities available in Bristol just waiting for you to get involved or you can create your own community schemes to help your local community and funding is available to help you set this up. See both UWE and U o B Community Liaison web sites for the funding application form.
